Five ways we are engaged.

Three on the power side of the meter, two on the technology side. Most clients start with one and add a second once the first has landed.

Services 01 and 04 overlap on purpose — a site engagement contains a power system engagement. Where the chain hands over from electrons to software is where the two practices meet.

01

Bitcoin mining site construction consulting

We take a site from a power lead to an energized, operating facility. The bottleneck is almost never construction — it is capacity that turns out not to exist, an interconnection queue nobody read, or a transformer ordered eight weeks too late. We front-load all three.

Rows of load containers on a gravel pad at an operating site
What we do
  • Capacity and land sourcing, tariff and curtailment analysis
  • Load letters, interconnection applications, study review
  • Site layout — container, immersion or hydro arrangements
  • One-line development and equipment schedule
  • Contractor scope of work and bid leveling
  • Construction oversight and commissioning to energization
What you get
  • Site feasibility memo with a go / no-go recommendation
  • Interconnection application package
  • One-line diagram and equipment schedule
  • Procurement plan ordered by lead time
  • Construction scope of work suitable for bidding
  • Commissioning checklist and as-built documentation

Typical scope — 5–50 MW behind a utility or substation interconnect, SPP and PJM.

02

Business supporting software implementation

For companies still running on spreadsheets, email threads and one overloaded office manager. We map the work as it is actually done before anyone demos anything — most failed rollouts are a good product bought against an imagined process.

What we do
  • Interview the people doing the work and map it as it stands
  • Define requirements that are testable, not aspirational
  • Shortlist and score vendors against your actual sequence
  • Plan data migration, including what will not migrate
  • Configure, integrate and cut over with a rollback path
  • Train staff and stay through the first quarter
What you get
  • Current-state process map
  • Requirements document and vendor comparison
  • Migration plan with a data-quality assessment
  • Cutover runbook and rollback plan
  • Training materials written for your staff
  • Support plan naming who to call for what

Typical scope — accounting, CRM, inventory, field operations, document and approval workflows.

03

Small business AI initiative planning & deployment

A short assessment of where AI earns its keep in your business, then the deployment itself. We rank candidates by payback and data readiness, pilot the best two or three, and put guardrails around them. You finish with a roadmap that has named owners and a budget — not a demo.

What we do
  • Inventory the repetitive, document-heavy work in the business
  • Rank use cases by payback, risk and data readiness
  • Assess whether your data is in a state anything can use
  • Pilot two or three with real users and a measurable baseline
  • Write guardrails, review steps and an acceptable-use policy
  • Train staff and define how results get measured
What you get
  • Ranked use-case register with estimated payback
  • Data readiness review
  • Two or three working pilots, not slideware
  • Guardrails and acceptable-use policy
  • 90-day roadmap with owners and a budget
  • A measurement method you can run without us

Typical scope — quoting and proposals, document extraction, scheduling, customer correspondence, internal search.

04

Electric power system design & procurement consultancy

The engineering and the buying, in one scope. A specification written by someone who has never leveled a bid tends to produce quotes that cannot be compared; a bid leveled by someone who has never written a specification tends to award the cheapest non-compliant unit.

What we do
  • One-line development and load studies
  • Transformer sizing and specification — kVA, impedance, BIL, taps, temperature rise, enclosure, accessories
  • Switchgear, breaker and protection selection
  • Coordination, grounding and arc-flash review
  • RFQ issue, bid tabulation and award recommendation
  • Submittal and drawing review, factory test witness, logistics
What you get
  • One-line diagram and equipment schedule
  • Written equipment specifications ready to issue
  • Bid tabulation on a like-for-like basis
  • Award recommendation showing the trade you are making
  • Reviewed submittals and factory test reports
  • Delivery and lead-time tracking to site

Typical scope — pad-mount and substation transformers, MV switchgear, protection and metering.

05

Electric power device & equipment marketing services

Representation for transformer and power-equipment manufacturers selling into North America. A technically sound product loses on the specification sheet more often than on price. We translate factory capability into the language US buyers actually issue RFQs in, and then follow the order through test and delivery.

What we do
  • Position the product line against what US buyers specify
  • Qualify incoming RFQs so the factory quotes what is worth quoting
  • Support quotation, technical clarification and exceptions
  • Prepare and shepherd submittal packages
  • Follow quality, factory testing and inspection
  • Handle after-sale technical support and claims
What you get
  • Market and specification positioning review
  • RFQ qualification and a quoting discipline
  • Quotation and technical clarification support
  • Submittal packages that survive review
  • Factory test and inspection follow-through
  • A named point of contact for the buyer

Note — where we represent a manufacturer, we disclose it to any client we advise on the same category.

Not sure which of these you need?

Describe the problem rather than the service. We will tell you which one it is, or that it is none of them.
